Canine Rehabilitation Services

AVSS offers a complete therapeutic approach to physical rehabilitation. Physical rehabilitation following injury or surgery speeds recovery by reducing pain, swelling and inflammation, building muscle mass and strength, restoring range of motion, and assisting with mobility. Using the latest in therapeutic modalities and canine fitness equipment, our programs are designed for pre and post-surgery patients, arthritis and pain management, obesity, fitness, and recreational exercise. Patients receive a full evaluation and consultation with a veterinarian and therapist before beginning the physical rehabilitation program. The patient’s needs and the dog owner's goals are discussed, and a plan is developed to speed recovery and to improve the health and well being of the pet.
