| Dr.
Christina Peavey, D.A.C.V.S., graduated with high honors
from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine
in 1998. After a year long internship in Los Angeles, she
completed a three year surgical residency program at the University
of Wisconsin-Madison Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital in
2002. Dr. Peavey recently returned to her hometown of Arlington
Heights after having practiced in Colorado. Areas of special
interest include orthopedic surgery of the stifle and hip, with
advanced training in the treatment of cruciate ligament injuries
and total hip replacement, complex fracture fixation, and minimally
invasive surgery which includes arthroscopic (joint), laparoscopic
(abdomen), and thoracoscopic (chest) surgery.
Dr. Peavey enjoys spending time with Nigel,
her 9 year old boxer. She also enjoys alpine skiing,
reading, music and has a fondness for mexican cuisine.
